Adult  Classes

We offer several adult Sunday school classes each week.

L.O.G.O.S. -  A discussion-based study, allowing time and space for everyone to add their thoughts and understandings. The L.O.G.O.S class meets in the east upstairs classroom at 10:15 am on Sunday mornings.  Lead by Lynda and Kurt Schlender.

Vision - 
We are an intergenerational Bible study who explores ways to apply Biblical truth to our walk with Jesus.  The Vision class meets between services at 10:15 am on Sunday mornings in the library, lead by different members of the class.  You are welcome to join them anytime for an in-depth search through the Scriptures and some laid-back discussion!

The Well - 
Filled with various ages of adults. Come and laugh and learn with us about loving and following Jesus in our everyday lives. The Well class meets in the parlor on Sunday mornings at 10:15 am.  Taught by Jay and Kelsie Schlegel as well as others from the class.

The Word - 
A class for all adults who love studying books about the Bible, this is a collaborative and discussion-based class. The  Word class meets between services at 10:15 am on Sunday mornings in the Parlor.   

Adult  Wednesday  Night  Study

6:30-7:30pm Join Pastor Ben and a group of other curious minds for an in-depth look at Scripture. this class meets in the Conference room.  We study an Old Testament book and then a New Testament book.  This class rocks!

Presbyterian Women:
Presbyterian Women’s group meets on the second Thursday of each month, usually at noon, in the church fellowship hall.  We begin with a time of fellowship and potluck lunch followed by our program and business meeting.
Programs for October 2022 through August 2023 include speakers from Family Promise Ministry, Tree House, ICT/SOS Wichita and Humankind Ministries.  Other programs are Preparing Christmas Tins for shut-ins, staff and recently bereaved; a Sew-a-Thon with Sew Thankful Quilters; Sisters-in-Christ brunch at Warren Riverview Park Lodge and a Mystery Trip with lunch out.
Presbyterian Women is an organization of the Presbyterian Church, USA.  Our Purpose is: To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible Study; to support the mission of the Church Worldwide; to work for justice and peace and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church, USA, and witnesses to the promise of God’s Kingdom.
Current officers are: Bev DeWald and Susan Hammer, co-moderators and Nora Coryell, secretary/treasurer.  We welcome newcomers, old timers and all in between.  Our PW 2022-2023 Yearbook is available in the church office.

MARY & MARTHA CIRCLE
Mary & Martha Circle meets for Bible study at 1:00 p.m. in the church library on the first Thursday of each month.  On October 6th, we begin a new study, “Celebrating Sabbath, Accepting God’s Gift of Rest and Delight” written by The Rev. Dr. Carol Bechtel.
There are nine lessons in this book.  The first four are entitled: Sabbath and Celebration, Sabbath and Creation, Sabbath and Sunday and Sabbath and Surrender.  Study books have been distributed to current members but three study books are available in the church library, lower left cabinet as you face the TV counter.  More books can be ordered if needed.  Bev DeWald, Vicki Dicks, Sandra Dunavan and Nora Coryell take turns leading the lessons.  We invite you to join us for a time of study, fellowship and sharing.
